Today is a very important day! It's Father's Day. I...haven't seen my father in a very long time. So many months! And we don't exactly agree on some very, very important things...but he'll always be my Father.

How odd... I'm so hungry. I've never been this hungry before. My belly aches.

Yesterday was my birthday--my first birthday ever! We had a small party, and cake, and gifts. Aniki and Yoko-san got me a kitten. It's a boy, and Chrome-san and I are naming him Soot. He's sleeping right now in his basket-bed.

I promise to take very good care of him, Kyou-san, and not pull him tail or hold him when he doesn't want to be held!

With how busy we've been lately, I've been cooking more than usual! I've been trying lots of new things, and I decided to try backing for the first time. I made cupcakes!
